When woodpeckers come calling, here's how to answer

Galt High plans to use sound to ward off troublesome gulls

Get rid of problem gulls safely with predator sounds and species-specific technology

"Although most of the birds have moved on for the season, school officials hope to prevent the problem next year by taking a number of steps to discourage the gulls from returning, including installing a gull-deterring sound maker..."

Racecourse resorts to bad calls to get the gulls out
