Not a bird or a plane, just pigeon droppings
The new great horned owl decoy 'hunts' for pigeons atop the Mary Duncan Public Library in Benson. Actually, a sound it emits which humans cannot hear keeps the birds away.
"It's the mess they make tha's so awful," Mrs. Hayes said. "You could not walk in front of the library for the pigeon poop. Until recently I used to have to sweep every morning."
Mrs Hayes said the purchase of the new programmable decoy system is not the first device the library has used to get rid of the pigeons. - The Daily Record by Shelah Ogletree. Read more.
